The 24 hr Relay for Life to support the American Cancer Society was a huge success here in Fairbanks. This years relay pulled in $220,000 -- which is about $100K more than the 2006 relay. Our team "Spiritus" contributed about $4000 to the grand total. Good Job Team Spiritus!! There were a few hundred people walking around the track from 6pm Fri through 6pm Sat. It was a great turnout. Unfortunately I missed a bunch of the activities on Saturday because I was out on the Hot Springs adventure race thingy.

Jim, Trevor and I enjoyed watching the eclectic group of walkers as we made multiple laps around the track
